High Voltage Contracting Unit
ASLAA’s High Voltage Contracting Unit is actively involved in Supply and Installation of Cables up to 400KV which is approved by Kuwait’s Ministry of Electricity & Water (MEW) to carry out Civil Works related to laying of Underground Cables up to 400KV along with other High Voltage works pertaining to construction and commissioning of Substations and Overhead Transmission Lines.
This unit has executed several projects along with renowned and approved High Voltage cable manufacturers for various government entities within the State of Kuwait. In recent years, the company has emerged as most sought after contracting company in this field given its reliable past experience with competitive pricing and expertise in carrying out all related works within given time frame.
Our team comprises of qualified and experienced personnel who have previously worked with renowned manufacturers as well as with MEW Kuwait. We employ large pool of talented and dedicated staff including Senior Project Managers, Engineers, Cable Pulling experts, Technicians and other Workers capable of undertaking large scale projects.
We are equipped with state of art equipment to carry out Cable works in professional manner such as; Cable Pulling Winch, Directional Drilling Equipment, Excavators, Boom Trucks, Cranes, Hydraulic Cable Drum Lifting Jacks, Heavy duty cable drum shafts, Guided Rollers Compactors, Welding Sets.
Our scope of work ranges from Engineering to Execution to Testing and Commissioning of 33KV, 132 KV, 300 KV & 400 KV XPLE Cables which includes but not limited to; Route Planning, Flow Chart Drawings, Installation Plans, Calculation of Tensile Forces, Excavation, Civil grading, Earth works, Directional Drilling, RC Structure, Cable Laying, Jointing, Termination and Backfilling together with Fiber Optic cable laying, Splicing & Termination. Also, we carry out works related to repair and replacement of existing oil filled and XLPE Cables
This dedicated Unit also offers turnkey solutions for Engineering & Construction of High Voltage Substations and Overhead transmission lines from concept to completion through its associated EPC companies which are approved by MEW-Kuwait. It positions itself uniquely in this field by utilizing its in-house experience and expertise in providing equipment such as Transformers, Cables and Switchgears from its principal manufactures who are approved by MEW-Kuwait.
